comics for November 13, 2008
Sorry about the lack of updates over here. I started a little story on my drunk duck mirror and didnt want to clutter it up. As anyone who reads the blog will know, I had computer problems, fried motherboard thanks to Hurricane Ike.
Anyhow, back now. As I colored the final panel I noticed that Sherry Ann looks to be an albino. This was not intended yet I had scripted her to be colored like Alex but in reverse. Course, there is a very good reason for that but you’re not gonna learn the reason for some time to come.
On another side note we have a guest star from Crossing Death DD mirror Can you guess what purple boy is pushing up the stairs?
Finally, I know panel 1 looks a little wonky. I had no idea that I had a 3d staircase until I was setting up the second panel.

Well it turns out that my comp is fried thanks to a cheap surge protector , so I need to fix or replace it. View this comic to take a iconized look at what happened. My food was spoiled too, but there really wasnt that much in the fridge and I cooked what I could, once I thought of it, thank goodness for gas stoves. Anyhow, if you wish to help out then feel free to send a donation. I had not wanted to ask for a donation but I wound up bitting the bullet and swallowing my pride.
I’ll keep your email and send you a wallpaper soon as I can make one up agaain, I’m thinking the Welex family doing something cute, maybe Sunday Night Oinkskin (football) or something like that.

If you feel I chose wrong on Alex’s new hairdo leave a comment on this blog post with a link to your submission. I’ll do a few special updates showing them off and give the owner of the one that I like a walk on cameo role, (either the artist or their character of choice) with plug soon as I find a place for it.
Just remember that it can be any hairstyle that you want, his talent is hair control after all, but please try to make it easy to draw.

Alex's current hairdo.
If there is a lot then I might even have a first, second and third place prize.

This is from a book called “Disorder in the Court”, and is a true interrogation conversation in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters - who had the torment of staying calm while this exchange was actually taking place. I had to share it because it’s so darned funny!
Q: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for blood pressure?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for breathing?
A: No.
Q: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the
autopsy?
A: No.
Q: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
A: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
Q: But could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
A: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law
somewhere.

This is mine and BlkKnight’s mirrors to our drunk duck comics. We are debating on doing a comic hosting service using comic press, what you are currently reading right now. but it wouldn’t be free. Ad free, and so far very stable, probably $12 a year for basic, and more for ftp access. (I only have 2 ftp accounts and they’re both in use so I would need to pay for more ftp accounts, wiki, and other things.) Anyhow, we’re still debating, stay tuned here for futher updates and comment if you want more details or are interested.
